The three hour update course is designed for those delegates that have attended a 12hr Paediatric First Aid course and have a current and valid certificate.
This course is designed to be attended each year until your full certificate expires.
Attending an annual paediatric refresher course will give you invaluable updates where changes have developed and will boost your confidence to administer first aid in an emergency.
We can come and deliver this course at your work setting where you will have the flexibility of starting the course as early as you would like or alternatively you can request a later start on a date of your choice that suits you and your staff.
Each student will receive a certificate that will be valid for 1 year.
It is recommended that those who have attended a Paediatric First Aid course should do an annual refresher each year thereafter until the third year. They should then renew by taking a 12hr Paediatric First Aid.
This will ensure they remain qualified first aiders.
Assessment: You will be required to successfully complete a short multiple choice paper and will be assessed on your practical skills to qualify for your certificate.
This First Aid course has a mix of theory and practical elements. You will be required to kneel on the floor for some of the practical elements.
If you have any concerns about your ability to complete this element please contact us to discuss.
Should you require a RQF accredited course please let us know as we can also offer this option click here for more details
This course is most suited to:
All those that hold a current Paediatric First Aid Qualification or Emergency Paediatric First Aid Qualification.
